Generally we have a good food experience. But our last experience was very disappointing, not up to the Girves standard. Ordered a ribeye, it was indeed a strip steak, the manager “explained” they cut their steaks in house and they were just cut wrong. Husband eat it and yes it was a strip (they taste different). Would give it a 3. The French onion soup was So Salty. Our steaks were under cooked to what we asked for and nothing was overly warm. The steaks were not the best quality for the price and the center of our baked potatoes were not completely cooked. the food was terrible, the meat tasted like it was freezer burner
Terrible took over 2 hours to get food and it was cold they didn’t offer to discount the bill or anything Server never checked on us at all

faster service, more staff, I waited for a half hour for a drink refill that never came, the entire meal, but at least the server kept telling me it was on the way every time he came over to the table. usually I get no ice in my drink, but switched it up today, and thank goodness, because I was able to at least drink the ice that had melted during my meal.

We were not happy with the service we received tonight. We both ordered a porterhouse steak and they were not cooked how we asked. They looked like T-bone steaks and not porterhouse. My husband asked for hot sauce and the stopper in the bottle was missing and too much came out on his food. The waiter only seemed interested in his bigger tables. For what we paid was not worth it to me.

Lack of flavor in the food, ordered scallops sautéed mushrooms and steamed broccoli... scallops were cooked properly, broccoli was mushy, and mushrooms although plenty again lacked flavor. Bartender Jonah was very pleasant...
Very disappointed in all five of our meals tonight. The 16oz T Bone was no where close to that size. One of the Porter House steaks looked more like the 16oz T Bone that wasn’t even close to 16 oz. It was for sure no where close to the 22 oz it was to have been. County Auditor needs to check their scale. Brown Derby has been around for many years and my expectations were much higher for them. Went for dinner tonight, party of 7. The salmon was flavorless, 2 of the French onion soups were lukewarm, at best. One member of our party got a rib eye that was very tough. The wedge salad was swimming in dressing. In place of the salmon, I ordered a bowl of french onion soup, it was literally ice cold. Our server, Brittany was wonderful, very attentive and compassionate, the mgr also was very compassionate about the poor quality of food. All in all, an extremely bad dinner.
