We were here for my grandmother’s 92nd birthday. All the food was nasty. 🤢🤮🤮 They put Honey butter in the mashed potatoes and on the baked potato,It took forever for our food to come, and the service was just unnecessarily slow. My sister’s steak had a chemical taste to it too. Smh I will never be back or recommend this place to anyone. I wish we went to Texas Roadhouse like I asked. 👎🏾👎🏾🚮
We generally enjoy the food and have been coming here for awhile. Our last experience wasn't so good. The stuffed mushrooms were terrible. the shrimp dinner was over cooked and when we aked the lady said thats how it was. the shrimp were not that done the week before. and an up charge for broccoli... when we got the bill and questioned it the lady said its on the menu but we didnt see it. she coulda mentioned it. but really.... un up charge for broccoli.?
Generally we have a good food experience. But our last experience was very disappointing, not up to the Girves standard. Ordered a ribeye, it was indeed a strip steak, the manager “explained” they cut their steaks in house and they were just cut wrong. Husband eat it and yes it was a strip (they taste different). Would give it a 3. The French onion soup was So Salty. Our steaks were under cooked to what we asked for and nothing was overly warm. The steaks were not the best quality for the price and the center of our baked potatoes were not completely cooked. While a lot has changed, especially since Covid we have been going to Brown Derby for 40 years. Needless to say today was an eye opener in many ways. PS: Kristina our server was very nice.
