UPDATE: I want to thank Uncle Mikes for reaching out to me and helping resolve my issue I experienced! This is original post: So I bought a 2lb bag of teriyaki jerky and it molded in 1-2days after opening it. This was bought in store at the Walnut Creek Cheese store. I followed the instructions on the bag for refrigeration. I have reached out to uncle mikes a couple times and have received no replies in regards to this issue! Just nasty. Should have looked at the meat before I bought but it was cold and I was in a hurry. Pieces have big strips of fat. Flavor was not what was on the bag. I eat tons of jerky and this is definitely low tier jerky at premium pricing.

I've bought uncle mike's beef jerky for years and have always enjoyed it until my last purchase. I drove 100 miles round trip to the normal farm market I have always bought it from just to get home and find out my two pounds bag was 50% mold. The entire top of the bag was covered in mold and couldn't see it through the clear window on the package. I emailed the company with zero response about the issue. I was visiting Berlin, Ohio from Buffalo N.Y.. I bought a bag of Uncle Mike's Teriyaki Beef Jerky. When I got back to N.Y. I opened the bag to find white mold all over the Jerky. I paid 25.00 for this bag and I am very disappointed. I tried to email Uncle Mike's with the website on the back of the bag and I got a return message it could not be found. I cannot believe it's made locally fresh in Walnut Creek and get by with selling a moldy product. selling a moldy product.
