Was able to speak again, with Chad the owner after many years!! Very informative and interesting history of his family background and development of the winery! Thanks Chad for taking the time to talk to us, and thank you Tina and Amy for everything you did to make our annual visit a great one!! See you next year (from this central PA girl) definitely my favorite winery in SE Ohio!!! Hans favorite is the best ❤️
If you’ve been here years ago, come back and drive around back, up the hill to the right of the building. Now there’s an actual restaurant as well as patio seating where you can enjoy a perfectly-arranged flight outside. Cody was awesome and made our experience absolutely perfect! On a hot day, we recommend the blackberry slushie. Well done Swiss Heritage! We’ll come back for sure!
Swiss Heritage Winery, in conjunction with Hans Place Restaurant, has great wine, food, and service! We sat in the barrel room, and loved it. Anytime a fellow teacher is behind the bar, I am impressed! There’s a great variety of wines to try, a tasting flight option, or glass/bottle menu. Outdoor seating in the warmer months. We will be back!
Server was extremely rude. We changed where we were planning on sitting so they decided not to give us our food. Didn’t bother to tell us so we were waiting for it. When we finally checked in it she blamed us. Not what I call good customer service. Not going back!
We loved the selection of sweet wines! Great service as well! The crackers and pretzels with the tasting flight are a nice extra!
