I read through some of the review and the reviews with one star seemed to be mostly over waiting times and appointment scheduling. While this is unfortunate, this is what happens in our medical system today and is probably not specific to Roholt. My experience with Roholt Vision Institute and specifically Dr. Young has been outstanding. I had cataract surgery in both eyes and the follow up to the surgery was excellent. I was seen yesterday by Dr Wohl and he is a knowledgeable doctor who is very kind. Staff are terrific as well. I am grateful for their services. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I had SMILE surgery in November, biggest mistake of my life. I originally was told at my preop consult that surgery would be on a Friday and I would be back to work and all good on Monday. I was putting drops in my eyes every 5 minutes for 2 months to get moments of some clear vision. 4 months later and still using drops daily, warm compresses and prescription drops for dry eye. Awesome, knowledgeable doctors and friendly reception. Nice clean comfortable office space. Up to date technology for all your eye care needs. Had to use Google to find it
Had a very important appointment. I actually need eye surgery again. So I had to see a specialist. The day of the appointment they call me a hour before the appointment telling me the Dr can't see me. And proceeded to be rude about it. I never had a problem before but the secretary Mary was extremely rude. I can't see the Dr until the end of January. This is not acceptable at all.
