My fiancé and I spent Halloween weekend at Main Street Lodge in the Maple Suite. This was not our first time visiting this property, and everything was exactly as lovely as we remembered. The hot tub was fantastic and the location superb. You are right on the Main Street through Berlin, and everything is easily walkable - we didn’t have to drive at all! This was a very good experience. We have been coming to this area for 45 years, so we have experienced many different kinds of stays. This was a last minute trip and our usual place to stay was booked, but as it stands now, we have a new place to return to. Every bit of it was 5 star. The rooms were very quiet. We heard nothing, even though this is near the main street. It has easy parking, off street, well lit.
Absolutely amazing place to stay! We had the Magnolia room! Private patio with hot tub and the room was gorgeous. Our patio walked out to Mainstreet which was great to buy things and then run them back to the room. The room was super clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back!
This house is right in the middle of everything! You can walk to shopping and dining, in, literally, 2 minutes! The excellent Amish restaurant, Boyd and Wurthmann, is across the street. Be careful, they close at 3:30, and when we went at 2:00, they were already out of fried chicken! Try some of their excellent pie! The house is definitely dated, and could use some sprucing up, but it was very clean, and the hosts were excellent. It is on a very busy road, so if noise bothers you, this might not be the place for you.
The room was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Assigned parking spot and walking distance to everything in Berlin. Will stay again next time we make it back to the area!
