We blindly selected this place to stay, as we knew nothing of the area. We struck gold! It is the perfect place to stay, as Berlin seems to be the center of activity. We were able to walk to a lot of places and sit and watch the tourists up and down the street.. The hot tub room was an added bonus that we spent h by much of our time in. We were very pleased with Main Street Lodge! Our suite was extremely clean and was conveniently located close to coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and other area attractions. The check-in/check out process was flawless and communication with the owner was quick and easy. We’ll definitely be back!
Our room (The Sycamore) was lovely and spotless clean. It was nice to be able to walk out onto the main street, so convenient! We stayed in another room of The Lodge a few years ago before all the others were finished, and when we planned this quick trip, I knew I wanted to stay in The Lodge again. I won't even bother checking other accommodations on our next trip to Amish country in Ohio!
From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the entire stay at Main Street Lodge was absolutely perfect. I was in town doing a familiarization tour for my bus tour business and I'm happy my wife found the Barnyard Suite. It was centrally located to everything you can do in Holmes County Amish Country. The rooms were huge too. It was a home away from home for the weekend. The only issue is that I'll need 25+ rooms for the bus tour in April 2025 otherwise, we'd be staying there for the group tours as well!
It was very clean and well kept, had everything you need to stay. Very accessible to all the shops and good places to eat. The only negative is that our hot tub was located on the main street side so until about 8:00PM it's a little loud from the traffic. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. NICE PLACE
