Maybe took us about 1.5 hours to go through this? My elderly parents, husband, and I really enjoyed this Victorian style museum... volunteers restored this and are running it still... so friendly and a unique experience! We enjoy touring old homes, mansions, and this was a very different experience as it didn't seem as polished; more like a true "here's how it was" and experience it in a more intimate, less formal way. Beautiful house, lovingly restored. Lots of interesting details both about the homeowners but also various occupations and professions that existed at the same time. Highly recommend going to the Glass museum next they sell combo tickets to both.
Great place with a wide array of interesting items. Found a lot of things I've never seen before (which is good) and we were very impressed with the beautiful decor. What a place! See it if you're in the area.
Very nice historical home to visit. A lot of work and knowledge has went into preserving the history and maintaining this historical home. Very, very nice people working there to answer any questions you might have. Numerous locals volunteer to maintain and decorate the house during the Christmas season.
Beautiful old home in Millersburg, Ohio, there is a fee to tour the home and you take a self guided tour of the house. There are 3 floors that are furnished with pieces that have been donated to the home. The Historical Society has done an excellent job of restoring the woodwork, flooring and walls to near original condition. All of the furniture and decorations that are in the various rooms give you the feeling that a family is still living there today.
