Grandpa’s Cheesebarn is one of the greatest places in the world. The updates to the outdoor area to be more lively and comfortable are lovely. The ramps and updated ADA standards are impressive. Their café is delicious. The cheese is yummy and they have so many options. More sweets than you know what to do with. I love the trinkets and branded items. I have every shirt they make. I can't tell you how many times we've passed this place on the interstate, and I have to admit I've chuckled at the name, thinking it might be cheesy—no pun intended. But this time we stopped, and I was more than impressed. They have a wide selection of items available for purchase. It was a bit overwhelming, but the food was top-notch and really delicious. Must try the double coated chocolate malt balls! And beef jerky! The double coated chocolate malt balls come in different flavors and they're reminiscent of the 90s whoppers, if you know you know! The beef jerky is not like your conventional jerky that's tough and chewy and slightly rubbery. This place is loaded with tons of sweets options and cheese options. We literally spent over $100 in each section. It's a large facility packed with deliciousness and they offer samples of many items. Beware, if you sample you won't be able to leave without it. The strawberry fudge is the best fudge I ever tasted. If you're a Joe Tea fan, don't leave without the pineapple lemonade.
Fun place to stop! So many cool snacks, chocolates, meats, and of course a big cheese selection. All the staff were very friendly and helpful! Lots of things to sample as well! Reasonably priced for what you’re getting!
