They double sold our fantastic seats! Sadly we ended up behind a pole in the corner because of it. I had a good time with my man but could have been a BLAST if we could have seen all the Events clearly & not rely on a big screen to see almost everything as a replay. It was too much $, time, gas, drinks, food & effort to just watch replays. Worth every penny if we would have got to keep our seats though!! Love everything about Garwood Arena. The huge warm-up arena, 2 show arenas & all stalls accessible without going outside. Shops, bar & restaurant very convenient inside as well.
This used to be a good event to go to. Now, it seems to be just about making Garwood money. The assigned seating that must be paid in advance online with tax and processing fees is ridiculous and packs people in like sardines. They no longer offer veterans discounts or any recognition during opening ceremonies. If you're still going, your view will most likely be obscured by bleacher railings and arena support beams. My 1st and probably only experience with this place was this past Saturday. My friend and I went and had no idea what to expect. The place was clean, the people were friendly, and the layout was not too overwhelming. The problem we had was the handicap comfort. I had messaged ahead and was told that if we bought tickets for the first row that we could bring our camp chairs. When we got there we were not allowed to bring them in.
