My friends and I visited Thursday April 24th, while we were staying in the SkipperBud’s Marina. SkipperBud’s employees told us to head over to this place to eat. They raved about the food and service. Tay was such an amazing waitress. She really knows how to treat customers and goes out of her way to get them what they need when they need it. The atmosphere is nice because the restaurant is by the river. But the food fell short of expectations for tacos. In particular, slide burgers had a hard taste because the bread was old, and patties had a dry taste.
Substituted blackened shrimp in the steak salad, amazing. Parm black pepper dressing was on point. The waitress recommended Lake Erie rub on the fries. Muy bueno! Highly recommend. Will be back
We stopped at Cleats for lunch recently while visiting the Marblehead area. The restaurant is nice looking from the outside, and pretty big on the inside. We had to wait to be seated for quite a while. Several servers kept walking by saying that someone would be with us in a minute. I dont know how long we waited, but it was too long. We were a large party, with about 10 people. The food got mixed reviews. Excellent food and service. Love sitting on the patio for the breeze and being on the edge of the lake and marina. This is always our go-to place when visiting Marblehead. Update: 10/19/2024: We went again tonight and this time had our daughters with us. Excellent service and food! We really enjoy this restaurant.
