Had a great time! We had a large group of around 10 and they got us seated quickly and our waitress Jenna was fantastic! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful… the restaurant sits on the shore and has wonderful views. Highly recommended if your in the area.
Beautiful view by the water; however we waited 45 min for a table of 3 on a Saturday evening. And the live music was SO loud that the waitress couldn't even understand us. We were literally shouting. We couldn't carry on a conversation at all. Service was friendly and food tasted okay, but I wouldn't go back when they are having live music.
Food is always great! Tvs tend to be to loud at lunchtime. Service leaves a lot to be desired. You wait to get seated even though they are not busy. You wait even longer for drinks and menu and to order. I have spent up to an hour and a half total from beginning to end of meal. Way to long for a lunchtime meal. If it wasn't for the good food, I would not come back.
Typing as we experience this place. Met by an incredibly snarky lady hostess who treats guests like they're 3 years old, rather ignominious start. Ok it's been an hour since the Buckeyes game was over and they have Jeopardy on all the screens!! Snarky hostess said 15 minutes ago she'd put games on. I don't have to wait for the food, first Saturday off in 5 years and chose the worst possible "Sports Bar"! Finally had to go to my car and get my tablet and stream football games at our table . This was our first time at Cleats in Marblehead! Our dinner was fabulous and our waitress Alicia was the best. One of the best waitresses we’ve ever had in the 40 years (almost ) September 7th that we’ve been married!! If you read this we are the couple from Oregon, Ohio. We will be back for sure.
