First time there, won't be the last. Delicious food, huge portions, price okay for what you get. Waitress friendly, knew the menu well, pleasant atmosphere outside. Chef came out to our table to chat with us and our friends. Definitely a happening place
Tried Brown Barn Tavern on recommendation from my sister. It was perfect for our casual family gathering - but we saw dressier people there - it runs the gamut. Beautiful backdrop of Alpine valley. We came in for St Pattys day/my birthday this year. We sat in the family section. Our server was extremely friendly. The owner came around and introduced himself. Very old school vibes in a good way. Our food was fantastic. We started with the Brussels sprout appetizer. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will order those again. My dinner was the corned beef and cabbage. Nicest find since moving to the region. We had been to the Geauga County Fair thinking to have lunch there only to find fair fare no longer has any appeal. My cardioligist will be happy. By dinner time we were hungry, but it was Labor Day weekend and the place we thought to go was closed. Google found this place. Across the board, we had an amazing experience at Brown Barn Tavern. Came during happy hour on a Friday. We ordered the chicken bbq sliders, kettle chips, beet salad, and tavern wings. Everything was excellent, cooked and presented perfectly. Ally, our server went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our new favorite tavern. We will be back!
