We are in our sixth year of dance and gymnastics classes at Above the Barr. We started both our our kids in "Parent & Child" Dance and gymnastics before they were 3 years old and the experience was so great we have stayed! Our oldest dancer is in her second season of Dance Company and had her first solo this year. Our youngest is finishing her "Early Childhood" experience and will be auditioning for PreCompany while continuing to expand her gymnastics skills as she has graduated to the "big gym." My daughter absolutely loves her classes at Above the Barre. ATB creates a fun, creative, and safe environment where kids can step outside their comfort zone and build confidence. It’s a place where students work hard to achieve personal goals, connect with peers, and feel inspired by their teachers every time they walk through the door. Our family has been a part of Above the Barre for around 9 years now. My kids are there almost every day. It has truly become their second home! The older girls are such phenomenal role models and are so supportive of the younger dancers. The teachers are amazing and work so hard for these kids. We couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
Outstanding place for teaching kids of all ages! Highly recommended. Well run and organized!
My daughter has danced here for 4 years and it's been a great experience. She has loved all of her instructors. Right now she is loving the summer camps. I highly recommend for families looking for a dance studio.
